The food is bomb, fresh, and delicious! The guy there is also very friendly. I love how they have picture of each of their menu.
the man who owns this place is so nice & treats you like a friend! i got the sopes w asada, rice & beans and it was absolutely delicious i left NOTHING on my plate. i’ll definitely be coming back here.
I ordered the volcano shrimp fries. They were made with love. They were spicy, flavorful, and fresh. The restaurant owner was friendly and personable. He even fulfilled an off menu item for my child. You can tell that he is a good human being and has a big heart. Please come give them a try! You will not be disappointed!
Just had my fair share of Shrimp botana, and it was delicious! If you're feeling adventurous, try it hot! A neat hidden gem in the Fresno area, will most likely visit again for another meal! The owner here has a wonderful vibrant personality, he is head honcho who is capable of handling both the register and kitchen duties.
First time eating here (Sunday) despite the wait.. it was well worth it. The food was very delicious!! Looking forward to coming back!!
Service was incredibly fast. No wait and my tacos were good. Salsa was very tasty but lacking heat. Only thing i found is the asada was cooked prior to my order so it was a bit tough. Otherwise great.
The Xinantecatl Restaurant arose on our horizon after a week of backpacking in the Sierras. I'm sure it wasn't only the contrast with rehydrated camping food while slapping hummingbird-sized mosquitoes. But this place is the real deal! Each person in our five person party descended into reverential silence while enjoying fajitas, salad with steak, camarones a la veracruzana (spicy and savory) and camarones a la diablo (SPICY and savory). Meals were served with hot corn tortillas following complimentary excellent thick cut tortilla chips and both red and tomatillo salsas, both tangy and yummy. The man who greeted us was also the chef and waiter, a charming guy on top of talented and efficient cook and cultural translator (ask him what the restaurant name means!). Complimentary ice creams were his final gift as we departed home to the showers he never let on knowing that we needed. I'll be back for sure whenever I'm in town!
The place might be small but it delivers exceptional quality! We were instantly greeted and helped to our table by the amazing chef who also made sure everything including the high chairs for our kids was wiped down and clean.Pros:the chips are actually house madeThe green sauce is to die forThe horchata is actually homemade too!Civeche is freshFood is all hot and made to orderThe service is better than you'll find anywhere elseCons: there aren't more of this man
